This 3-day conference will include keynote speeches, audio-visual presentations, panel discussions, workshops and technical field visits. Authors are encouraged to submit papers in the conference sub-themes that would share knowledge relevant for sustainable development of the developing countries.
Conference Sub Themes
The Conference will focus and deliberate on the following sub-themes, which is not necessarily an exhaustive list:

There is particular interest in developing countries for papers, which address the knowledge management. As part of efforts to maintain and raise the high quality of papers, the papers should be 6-8 pages academic or practitioner based papers with data and analysis component and/or practitioner based upon case studies, local technology (a selection of these papers will be recommended for publication in an appropriate journal). The accepted abstract of the papers will be published in a conference preprint proceedings. In addition to the oral papers, we are encouraging alternative presentation formats such as poster presentation. Only papers, which are presented in the conference, will be published in the Conference Proceedings to be published later on.
Call for Papers
The Organizing Committee invites practitioners, policy makers, academics and researchers to submit papers describing recent work in the themes listed above and related subjects. Authors wishing to contribute papers for the conference are invited to submit an extended abstract of approximately 500 words. It may include a few figures, tables or illustrations. The abstract should be typed in MS Word format using single line spacing, font types Times Roman and font size of 11 points. The extended abstract must be submitted no later than 15 October 2009 . While submitting abstract, please mention the affiliation and contact address(es) of author(s). The scientific committee will review the abstracts and select papers for inclusion in the technical sessions. Abstracts will be reviewed and judged on the basis of relevance, clarity, originality and technical content and completeness. Authors whose papers are accepted will be notified by 31 October 2009 along with the guidelines for completing manuscript of the full paper. The deadline for the submission of the full paper is 30 November 2009.
